Note: the clean delta wing airframe delivers outstanding speed and agility for a single-turbine model of this size. Control inputs at high speed must remain smooth and measured. Aircraft can easily exceed structure loads limit.

Pilot Notes:
General: The DMD550X is the smallest jet in RCE Vol.1. A classic delta wing design, agile and robustly built, capable of high speed passes and demanding aerobatics.
Controls: Engage dual rates and/or expo for high speed scale passes. Full control mode at high speed is not recommended, although possible with measured thumb-works.
Its small size is its primary operational consideration. At high speed and distance it becomes a small, fast-moving target in the visual field. Situation awareness and spatial orientation require extra attention as speed and distance compound quickly, and the model can 'skim' away before you realize it.
Energy management: In terms of energy management the delta wing geometry works in your favor. Moderate to High AOA generates high drag naturally, making speed control intuitive and predictable. Approaches and landings are straightforward: classic power pumping to maintain slope, even on steep finals. The aircraft handles it cleanly.
